HIDEAWAY – Photo Print

PriceFrom 38,00€
  • I went to the beach early this September morning to capture the morning light and the sunrise.  There’s something about the sandy beach which used to be crowded on warm summer days and now was abandoned and cold. Traces of people faded in the sand as wind and rain slowly wiped them away. It felt like walking on untreaded ground. It was very foggy as the sun rose. But before that I pointed my camera away from the light of dawn and captured these waterline shapes with the fog covering the rocks and the campsite church in the background.

Look closely and you might see the tip of it, like a hardly visible pyramid in the distant. I have to admit the sand was not that blue. I had had my camera’s white balance set to Bulb Light so all the colours became very cold. As I edited my photos I realized I liked it and decided to keep it. Although the sunrise photos in the thick fog were spectacular this photo turned out to be my favourite from that morning. It still is. Someone has said to me: “Don’t you have enough photos from that beach by now?” It’s a valid question. And the answer is always: “No.”

The complete story comes only with the Deluxe version so you can learn everything about it and be able to tell the story to anyone who sees it on your wall.
